Dear Reader,

At the onset, I wish you a very happy and prosperous new year 2021.

Every crisis is an opportunity. In light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak, and a still-uncertain set of risks, business
leaders worldwide are rightly concerned about how their organizations will be affected and what they have to do
next. One thing that everyone is sure about, the application of Information Technology, usage of remote working
mechanisms and digital communication systems would become more pervasive and we need to be more agile and
responsible in our approach towards using them. This episode is surely going to redesign the economic, social, and
the cultural landscape of many parts of the Globe and we have to be prepared for the same.

Even under the present scenario, West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation is continuously striving
to remain focused on facilitating information technology investments, creating an innovation ecosystem, building
relevant skillsets among our talented citizens and leveraging IT for holistic development of the state.

By making key infrastructure available via online methodologies, focusing on new emerging technologies, helping
remote working mechanisms, inculcating a spirit of innovation, building skills, safeguarding digital assets and a
variety of allied moves we are maintaining the technology leadership of West Bengal.

Our aim is to use our research to educate third-party stakeholders about adopting new technologies for customized
solutions. We are constantly exploring new methods and practices for innovating our products and services even
during these trying times.
