In the Valedictory Session, Dr. Amit Mitra, Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology & Electronics, Finance, Industry,
Commerce & Enterprises and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises & Textiles Departments, Govt of West Bengal,
delivered keynote speech on “What next for Bengal?” Hon’ble Minister briefed two success stories of Bengal. One is
digitisation of land ownership document and other is collaboration with Fujisoft for training people in 3D designing
technology. He also narrated 2 big challenges in the IT field. One is the Voting machine and the other one related to
the GST Network and called the IT leaders to think for those challenges.
