Smart City Projects

Telemedicine - Distant Medical Treatment

Delivery of health care services, particularly for the underserved rural, hilly and semi-urban areas. Webel has successfully completed telemedicine Projects in West Bengal at 16 Govt. hospitals and running at fifteen hospitals. It has successfully completed Telemedicine Projects in Tripura at 31 Govt. hospitals, in collaboration with IIT, Kharagpur. Webel is also running Tele-Radiology projects in Tripura at 23 hospitals and one center at West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited.

Implemented ICT infrastructure including Facility Management Services for ERP Solution in WBPDCL, West Bengal. Supply, installation and commissioning of all equipment like servers, storage, network equipment, desktop, printers, system software, backup solution and physical infrastructure. Operational maintenance support at the DC, DRC & Onsite maintenance at all Plant locations for a period of five years

West Bengal Public Library Network

The Directorate of Library Services and WBEIDCL initiative to provide library facility at the doorstep of the users. The State Central Library is the apex library in the network. 7 other Government Libraries and 19 Government Sponsored District Libraries are now connected in intranet. The bibliographical database of the libraries in the form of Union Catalogue is available online through the portal. A digital archive of rare books has also been built to cater to the scholars.

Kolkata Police

Implementation of Fibre Optic Network Infrastructure along-with supply, Installation, Testing and Maintenance of 1020 Nos. CCTV Camera within the jurisdiction of Kolkata Police under 'Nirbhaya Project'. CCTV camera based Face Recognition System under Safe City Project (Phase-II) Video Conferencing System at the Courts (33 Nos. Setups) and Correctional Homes (20 Nos. Setups) within Kolkata Police Jurisdiction for 'In Camera' TI Parade approved under Women Safety Project (Nirbhaya).

GIS based Emergency Operation Centre (EOC)

We have been entrusted by DMCD to develop a GIS based software system which can manage the whole operation of managing disastrous situation in the state starting from incident reporting, reaching to the affected people, planning for the management resources up to the predictive analysis. This software will help the department as well as the citizen to report any disaster as well as plan for any mitigation with available resources in the shorted possible route. Predictive analysis like collapsing of river banks in Maldah, frequent land slide in Kalimpong and Darjeeling, inundation in Alipurduar and Coochbehar will be easy enough compared to earlier scenario

Control room setup at Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC)

A control room has been setup at KMC office (Esplanade) to monitor the water logged areas in real time based on cameras and sensors placed in different areas under KMC. The number of pumps being used in different pumping stations and the pumping rate can be monitored on real time. Setup has been done to do the Video Conferencing with the key officials of all the pumping stations .
