 Always ensure that your card is swiped in your presence. Pay at the terminal instead of giving your card

to a waiter for payment processing, after dining at restaurants.

 Report lost cards immediately. Act fast and prevent fraud before it can happen. Don’t procrastinate. As

soon as you realize your card is missing, call the bank and block the card.

 Remember to collect your card after the transaction.

THE CSCOE ACTIVITIES

The Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, participated at Milan Utsav 2021, organised by The West Bengal
Minorities' Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC) at Park Circus Maidan, Kolkata held from 01-05
February 2021. Apart from awareness generation the main attraction was Instant Quiz and exciting prizes for
the winners.

The State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) of West Bengal organised Swayamsiddha Mela at Karunamoyee
Central Park, Salt Lake from 14-23 February 2021. Cyber Security Centre of Excellence (CS-CoE), Dept of IT&E,
held a Panel Discussion on “SAIBAR NIRAPATTA - NIJER HAATE (সাইবার নিরাপত্তা - নিজের হাজে)” on 19 February 2021 in
the fair followed by a quiz on Cyber Hygiene.

Cyber Security Centre of Excellence (CS-CoE) set a stall in Kreta Suraksha Mela (Consumer Protection Fair)
organised by the Department of Consumer Affairs, at Park Circus Maidan, Kolkata from 19th to 21st February
2021. The CS-CoE team conducted multiple on-spot quiz every day.

The Cyber Security Centre of Excellence (CS-CoE) in collaboration with Indian School of Ethical Hacking
organised a Hackathon on 17th March 2021 at Webel IT Park, Siliguri. The same day The Cyber Shikshak – a
Cyber Security Awareness Training Programme for the Teachers of West Bengal has also been organised.
