The final session explored the future of search marketing and how brands must be prepared to grasp the opportunity.
With the emergence of Amazon Echo, Google Home, Google lens, Amazon firefly etc. keyword searches are now being
picked up from conversations, consumer locations, consumer smartphone cameras & even biometric information.
Coupled with image, bar code and visual searches gaining precedence in the travel, ecommerce & fashion industry, the
future of search looks way different than what the search bar has taught.

was organised on 10 August 2018 at Hyatt Regency, Kolkata by Indus Net Technologies and supported by ICBI. The
Digital Success Summit aimed to put a structure to everything that is done in digital and to help to achieve Digital
Success through right strategy and execution in order to avoid becoming a victim in the digital world.
The summit offered a platform to connect with India’s best technology and marketing minds who uncovered everything
that one needs to know for developing a successful business. It gave a chance to learn from experienced digital experts
about the most structured and effective method of launching, executing and managing digital assets.
The summit covered topics like How Internet works and is governed? How can one contribute towards better
governance of internet? How to make domain name a strategic advantage? Do's and Don'ts for choosing domain
names, detail about cloud, Types of Apps a business may need and what to keep in mind while developing an App.

Shri Sen thanked for letting the government speak about its ways in which it is trying to take the digital agenda forward.
He referred to an advertisement from Intel which said, “The data era has come. Be ready” and briefed how the
government is getting ready by preparing the state for emerging technologies.
Government has already set up 16 IT parks across Bengal, a Hardware Park at Sonarpur, Electronic Manufacturing
Clusters at Falta and Naihati and setting up the Bengal Silicon Valley Hub at Rajarhat. Every month knowledge
workshops are being organised where best speakers across the country participates to share their views. Government
is making the base ready by creating and nurturing talent, by using the research scholars in teaching the youngsters
what are the new technologies and is working closely with educational institutions, centres of excellence such as the
Indian Statistical Institute, IIT, IIM and many others.
He said, Digital success can not only be defined by the profitability or the business sense. Digital success is not only
whether profit margins are increasing. Digital success also means is it inclusive? Is it making more opportunities? Is it
doing more good than harm to a large section of the society? Into this objectives and goals the Government of West
Bengal has dedicated 100 acres land for setting up the Bengal Silicon Valley Hub towards development and forward
marching of technology that is being ready for the future.
