    The third collaboration is with Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) a non-profit body who has a network of
    183 training partners with over 4013 training centers and has already trained over 7 lakh candidates and will assist
    State Government in establishing an Electronic Product Design Innovation Park. Shri N K Mahapatra, CEO, received the
    collaboration letter.

    The fourth collaboration is with the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industries (BCCI) for establishing an Incubation
    Centre  in  the  state.  Shri  Chandrasekhar  Ghosh,  President  of  Bengal  Chamber  of  Commerce  &  Industry  and  also
    Managing Director of Bandhan Bank received the collaboration letter.

    This was followed by experience sharing by industry leaders.

                                 Ms. Debjani Ghosh, President, Nasscom congratulated everyone on the occasion and
                                 expressed happiness to witness this historic moment of the setting up of Bengal Silicon
                                 Valley Hub. She said that the mission at Nasscom is to work with governments and with
                                 industries  across  India  to  enable  3  things  which  are  critical  for  India’s  growth  –
                                 Innovation, skills and eco systems. She expressed hope to work with the government
                                 which is tremendously supportive in West Bengal to unsure to make West Bengal a hub
                                 for the new digital India.

     Shri Sumeet Anand, Global I&L Leader Genpact mentioned that they have grown from
     30 people to 3500 people today and continue to plan significant growth here. They are

     building a campus in a joint development in Salt Lake Sector-V with a partner Simplex

     focusing on digital and looking to add significant number to the workforce in the next
     couple of years. The city has come out with best resources in terms of talent pool in

     India, the support they get from the State Government, gives them every reason to

                                 Shri Shivanand, Senior Vice President, Tech Mahindra called the historic event a great
                                 collaboration towards the development of this city. Tech Mahindra is confident that
                                 government  focus  would  continue  in  providing  a  state  of  the  art  infrastructure  to
                                 attract  global  businesses  to  set  up  their  shops  in  this  state.  It’s  well  known  that
                                 Information Technology is one of the fastest growing sectors in the Indian economy
                                 and it is anticipated that there would be immense employment opportunities in times
                                 to come. This state is a perfect blend of economic strength, abandoned talent and the
                                 transparent governance system. Tech Mahindra has around two and half thousand
                                 associates  and  they  are  extremely  grateful  to  the  government  for  extending  their
